Rev. CHAMINDRA S. WILLIAM, Parochial  Vicar in Residence

Fr. Williams
Fr Chamindra S. Williams is a man for all seasons. He was born in Sri-Lanka but has spent a good part of his life in South Florida with his family. From an early age, inspired by the faith and example of his devout parents, as well as by the charisma of exemplary priests known to the family, Fr Williams felt a call to the priesthood and responded by entering the seminary after high school.  After completing his first four years of seminary formation in California, he entered St Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, only to leave a few years afterwards to pursue studies in Chemistry, Mathematics and Music at Florida Atlantic University. Fr Williams was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Palm Beach in 2013 and spent one year each at St Anastasia (Ft Pierce), St Paul of the Cross (North Palm Beach) and three years at St Peter (Jupiter).
While Fr Williams has enjoyed living all over the globe (Sri-Lanka, Maldives, Jamaica and Zambia) his fondest memories are associated with islands. Fr Williams enjoys playing the piano, listening to music (favorite artist: Glenn Gould), riding his bicycle and doing yard work.
