Baptism

?Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: ?Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word.?” (CCC 1213)

Parents should be registered members of the parish or have close ties to the parish.  Do not make reservations of any kind until a baptism date is set with the parish office. Do not nominate anyone as godparents until you have checked the guidelines for being a godparent.

Applications forms for Baptism are available in the Parish office and Website (Contact Us). All paper work must be completed prior attending the class and the birth certificate of the child.

Baptisms during the Holy seasons of Advent and Lent are only celebrated in emergency.
